Be a Resolved Mom in 2009 Difficult as it is to admit, none of us are perfect. (Although if you said this to your own mom, she'd probably disagree.) We all keep lists of things we want to change and improve in our personal lives, homes and relationships—and slowly but surely, we chip away at them. We asked iVillage moms to weigh in on what they'd like to change in the new year, and how they're going to get there. Here are just some of their resolutions (and advice for how to keep them): Get the chores done early: Save time on the tough stuff and make more for the things you enjoy doing. Take time for family: Cut back on the distractions—and amp up on family togetherness. Stress less: Take a deep breath and chill out, especially about the small stuff. Never say never: Take the absolutes out of your parenting language. Write it down: Get that journal started, finally! Until next week!
