President-elect Barack Obama pressed Congress to act quickly on his ambitious economic stimulus plan, warning that the consequence of not doing so could be years of tough economic decline. Mr. Obama said, "for every day we wait or point fingers or drag our feet, more Americans will lose their jobs." Chip Reid reports from Capitol Hill.

 

Turning abroad, international pressure on Israel intensified today to halt its attack on Gaza, now in its 13th day. United Nations Relief halted deliveries of food and medicine – humanitarian aid was allowed to be delivered to Gaza yesterday during a momentary Israeli cease-fire – after accusing Israeli forces of killing one of their drivers. Mark Phillips has the very latest on the Mideast violence.

 

Think YouTube is just an online pastime? Think again. For some video creators, it's a way to make a six-figure income – right out of their own homes. Michelle Miller met one Web entrepreneur who turned a camera and a computer into a full-time job.

 

Finally, there's no business like show business … but with business slowing on Broadway, shows are finding it's best not to go on. A dozen shows are doing their final curtain calls this month. Richard Schlesinger reports that the lights on the Great White Way aren’t looking so bright these days.
