| | | The San Francisco Chronicle reports today: "The BART police officer who fatally shot an unarmed man on an Oakland train platform and then refused to explain his actions to investigators was arrested Tuesday in Nevada on suspicion of murder, authorities said." The police officer is the man behind the killing of 22-year-old Oscar Grant, who died on New Years Day after being shot in the back while lying, stomach first, on the BART platform. Oakland has been gripped by protests -- some of which have devolved into riots -- since Grant's death.
