By this time, we've mostly got the holiday planning things under control. Presents are bought, maybe even wrapped. The house is as clean as it's going to get. Perhaps you've got some Christmas carols going. Maybe even a log in the fireplace, if you have one. The meat or meat substitute meal of your choice may even be simmering away in the oven. Your goal now? Make it through Christmas without going Jerry Springer on your relatives.
