Authorities say an Atlanta bank was among more than 30 nationwide to receive letters containing suspicious powder and threats in what might be an extreme backlash to the nation's economic crisis.

Divine Mercy Care Pharmacy, a new drug store at a Virginia strip mall, is putting its faith in an unconventional business plan: No candy. No sodas. And no birth control. So far, least seven pharmacies across the nation are refusing, as a matter of faith, to sell contraceptives.
