Stitt, Booker lift Tigers past Illini

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. â€" Demontez Stitt scored 18 points and Trevor Booker had 16 to lead Clemson from behind to a 76-74 win over Illinois on Tuesday night in the 10th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Clemson (8-0) turned the tables on the defensive-minded Illini by causing havoc in the backcourt with their full-court press, forcing 17 turnovers to hand Illinois (6-1) its first loss of the season in front of an energized Assembly Hall.

Ex-Stingray Johnson gets measure of revenge as Gladiators rally back

It was just another game for Gwinnett goalie Josh Johnson â€" or at least that's what he wanted everyone to believe. Johnson, who was traded from the Stingrays to Gwinnett in early November, got a small measure of revenge on his old team as the Gladiators rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat South Carolina, 3-2, Tuesday night before a crowd of 2,955 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
