Corporate Water Abusers Should Not Be Trusted As Stewards of the World's Water

Large corporations have convened to talk about reducing their "water footprint" but the real stakeholders have been left out. Read more »

It's been an exciting week here in San Francisco as folks gathered to offer a counter voice to a big corporate bluewashing conference. You can read all about it in two pieces this week from our friends at Food and Water Watch -- one from Wenonah Hauter and another from Jeff Conant.

We've also got some ongoing coverage of new information about how gas drilling is threatening water supplies and the latest in midnight regulations from Bush, which will seriously affect clean water.

On a lighter note, check out Michael Fox's review of the new (water-themed) Bond film and consider giving the gift of Water Consciousness to a friend or fellow water warrior this year.

Our new book is now on sale for our loyal readers for only $14.95 -- a steal for such a beautiful, full-color book. Spread the word.

Thanks for reading,
