	Not feeling really great? Your humans need an emotional outlet, but being the class clown isn't one of your family obligations. Conserve your energy until you're feeling better. Your fan club will wait. When you hear the car keys jingle, you have no trouble making your feelings known. Whether you shrink away or start bouncing off the walls isn't the point. The crux is, you already know how to communicate. All the infighting at the dog park is making you want to hoard your possessions. Do the opposite. The more your share, the less tight with toys the other dogs will be. If only your human could double themselves, you could have one to go out hunting and gathering, and one to stay home with you. It's just not possible. Sigh once and move on with your day. If the dog run is just too chaotic for you, then go for a more controlled form of exercise instead. You and your human can have a good time on a long walk for a change or simply playing fetch. When it comes to getting organized, your friends are not much help. What you all need is a manager. If there is a shepherd among you, appoint them alpha. ADVERTISEMENT You know just how to handle all the action swirling around you: block it out. If you've got a good bone, or even a stick, that's the perfect way to avoid seeing the bigger picture. If there is strength in numbers, there is also frustration. Your energy level can't match that of every dog in your pack. Avoid playing with those who are mismatched. There are as many ways to enjoy the dog park as there are dogs. Follow your mood. If you want to hover on the sidelines, then let yourself. And if you want to jump right into the mix, go in deep. There is some kind of change in the doghouse, but it has nothing to do with you. Don't take it personally if your owner suddenly wants to be somewhere else, with or without you. Lack of exercise leads to more than just health issues. Your happiness is at stake, and so is your human's. Drag them out, by hook, crook or leash. Music, art -- they can be appreciated by others. What you need is a long walk and a good steak.
