The air seems filled with hope these days as the Obama administration takes shape and the President-Elect has expressed that he is prioritizing dealing with energy and climate issues.

We've got some great stories that keep pace with these developments, looking at his energy plan, a potential bailout in Detroit, and Bush's last attempts to screw the environment. We've also got a whole bunch of other great content.

Angela Walker writes about how closed manufacturing plants are being transformed into green business ventures. Lisa Bennett writes about why it is that people seem to be able to refuse to take action on something as catastrophic as climate change and I wrote about the best new on-line tool that helps you find good, local food and sustainable growers and related businesses all over North America.

Thanks for reading,
