The Economy:
Today President-elect Barack Obama announced the leaders of his economic team and his plan to help turn around an economy that's been struggling now for months. His team will include Timothy Geithner as secretary of the Treasury, Lawrence Summers as director of the National Economic Council and Christina Romer as chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisors. All this on the same day the government has announced it must bail out yet another major bank -- this time it's Citigroup that needs the help. We'll have the latest tonight.
Spinal Fusion Surgery:
Each year, more than a quarter-million Americans undergo spinal fusion surgery to help cure chronic lower back pain. But the recovery is often long and painful. Tonight, ABC's John McKenzie reports on a new, minimally invasive surgery that can have patients feeling better and back on their feet in record time.
