Bond Screenplay Sells for £46k Posted: 08 Dec 2008 12:31 AM CST The screenplay for a James Bond film that was never made on the big screen was sold at auction for £46,000. The lot was part of Christie's Pop Culture: Entertainment Memorabilia auction. The script was only expected to sell for around £3,000. Christie’s Katherine Williams said “Numerous lots far exceeded pre-sale expectations, demonstrating the continued appeal and durability of the pop culture market.” James Bond, robotic sharks and nuclear bombs – what more could you ask for in a script??
