Witness says Brian Nichols plotted escape Prosecutors who want the jury to impose a death sentence have been bringing witnesses to testify that Nichols is constantly plotting an escape. They say Nichols will keep trying and is willing to kill again to do so. Accused child molester dressed as Army general John William Harvey, 70, was arrested Nov. 7 at his residence in a mobile home park in northwest Fayette County. Harvey faces nine counts of child molestation and other related charges. Spectacular fire in Buckhead The two-alarm blaze did extensive damage to the newly opened Chastain restaurant on Roswell Road. Patrons and staff were evacuated but none was injured, Atlanta fire officials said.
