The National Weather Service is forecasting lows this morning in the low 20s, with northwesterly winds of 10 mph sending the wind chill plummeting into the teens. That would be the coldest weather in metro Atlanta since late February, forecasters said.

Marietta man dies in freak airport accident
Police say Jerome Evans, 56, was killed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport when he was hit on the head by an awning that had been struck by a shuttle bus, police said.
